Scholarships

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Cultural Foundation, Inc. was recognized and honored as a top civic and community organization by the Best of Reston. As of Spring 2015, the Foundation has awarded over $500,000 to a diverse group of college-bound students in the Northern Virginia area. Scholarships are awarded to National Capital Area graduating seniors based on their academic and civic achievements and their need for financial assistance. All scholarship recipients are required to partner with a Foundation mentor for the term of their scholarship. Click the link below for information on becoming a Foundation mentor.
